Tomorrow's meal for the skinks.
Kale, Broccoli, Carrots and Mustard Greens
Haven't decided what proteins I will be adding in.. I'm thinking if I can find some dubia roaches I'll add those in otherwise it'll be dog food.

Before anyone says anything, I'm not feeding them all of this...

I'm using moisted and semi-crushed natural balance synergy dog food until I can get a colony of snails and roaches.

They very likely won't eat just that. You'll want to mix it with dog food or egg or something before they eat the lovely, healthy salad offerings. If you just leave that out it likely won't get touched other than the odd lick!

I moistened and broke up dog food but when I got home it was how I left it. Do you think they'd be interested in a cut up boiled egg mixed in?

Canned dog food is usually appreciated much more than dry. I would recommend that over egg because it is fine to use as a staple.

I mixed in some egg and fresh turkey with the veggies, I'll be getting purina canned dog food to use instead tomorrow.

Azarath ate more today then ever. It's the first time she had canned cat food - newman's organic turkey mixed with fresh squash, basil, and cactus pear. I've never bought a cactus pear before and the food looked like a mess but she loved it! I would definitely try a hard boiled egg over dry dog food, but remember, I'm as new at this as you are :-)

Inspected both of them today, they both have every toe and nail but I'm curious about the male.

He has a small kink in his tail, could this have been from MBD or just a genetic defect?

Kinks in tail often occur from in the womb etc. I wouldn't assume MBD, lots of otherwise healthy skinks have kinks!
