What is this?

Even I can't tell for this one. I have my suspicions but... :noknow:
I cut the poll options to the few possibilities it can be.

That's not a very good picture, but I feel pretty confident that it is a skink from Indonesia. The things that keep it from being an eastern in my opinion are; color, pattern on the fore legs, base of the tail, and certain aspects of the pattern. It also has neither of the "tell-tale" signs that give away some easterns (fade to black, pattern "blur"). Those two things are not present in all easterns, but the fact that this skink has neither, combined with the things I mentioned before eliminate the possibility of this being an eastern in my opinion.

Usually, not always. You can't really tell where the tail ends in this picture though. It looks short in my opinion.

Dude. That tail is cut. It would be longer if it was all there.
