A couple of people had some guesses when I posted for the first time, and I was asked to get a better picture from above to get a better idea as to whether I have a male or a female. I understand there's not a lot of dimorphism to go off of, but does anyone have an educated guess? She's still young. She's about 11+ inches. I was told that it was likely a female, but I don't entirely trust the information. Sorry for the bad picture quality, I tried to make it a little better.

Even as adults it can be very tricky sexing Meraukes. In breeding season the males are often obvious but it's not always the case. They aren't nearly as obviously dimorphic as Northerns can be. I've seen several males for sale up here that were sold to the owners as female.

Still too young for an accurate guess, but looks very male to me. In my opinion, meraukes are MUCH easier to sex visually than northerns.
