Vindictive skink? Funny story
I always find it interesting and awesome how much personality BTSs can display. This week I had to move my skink into my room while people came to check things in my apartment. I woke him up with my hair dryer at 6am which he was highly unimpressed with according to the look I got. He was alone most of the day till after work when I took him out to explore. 4 times during the night (between 12 and 3:30am) he woke me scratching at the cage door. I am convinced that he didn't want to be taken out but wanted to teach me a lesson on how rude it is to wake a sleeping skink. I've spent the rest of this week drying my hair in the living room and tiptoeing around my room in the morning. He is too funny and I thought this was pretty clear evidence that they all have their own personalities. Especially since he hasn't done it any more this week because I haven't woken him up!

Re: Vindictive skink? Funny story
I'm sure it's coincidence, but even so, it's a funny thought. I often amuse myself by coming up with stories about what my animals get up to when I'm not looking! I'm convinced the cats do somersaults round the living room, because the cushions and other furnishings are always rearranged by the time I get home! The skinks must not like the gargoyle ornament in their enclosure, either, as he's always face down in the dirt, no matter how many times I secure him upright! He's probably just easier to walk over when he's face down though, but anyway, the skinks win the debate and he's face down for good, regardless of the real reasons!
