Had him inside whenever it wasn't sunny out, and he was his saintly little self the entire time.
Of course, not everyone loved him. This is probably one of my favorite pictures, I just die laughing each time. This kid ended up petting him, but it took a lot of persuading!
He also hung out on the front counter for a big portion of both days - he is so used to being in the store that he generally just stays where I put him, making him a great little mascot. By the end of the day he was getting tired, so I'd put a hide out there for him and he'd tuck up into it and take a nap.
Where was I for this? Well, for part of the afternoon I had gator duty.
Bandersnatch also hung out in the tortoise petting pen when the sun was out. Aside from occasionally trying to breed with the leopard tortoises (I'm not kidding), he was a little angel, and seemed to enjoy the chance to bask too.
I don't know about you guys but it makes me happy to see little girls learning to appreciate reptiles, instead of just being scared by them.
More little girls enjoying reptiles
I had my little baby retic out for the day as well, and everyone loved her - she's a sweetheart too, so it worked out well.
Our sister company, the Wildlife Company, was there doing presentations all afternoon, so I got the chance to snap some cool pics of the critters they brought.
This is Steph and Milo, the kinkajou:
Milo eating his grapes was probably one of the cutest and funniest things I've ever seen
Jess brought Gipetto, her Weeping Capuchin monkey.
Steph with Delilah, the African Crested Porcupine
Steph and Cheeyah, the Coatimundi
Steph and Cheeyah again - she's laughing because Coatis smell kind of like a weird skunk, and Cheeyah is rubbing alllllll over her
Alright, I'll stop with the pictures! If you're in Southern California, you can actually have the Wildlife Company come do presentations for you too

And I work at http://lllreptile.com/, if you didn't know that already. Yeah, yeah, shameless plug here at the end, but I'm pretty proud of what I do because outreach like this is a huge part of my job.
Thanks for looking!
