Kimberleys are growing fast

Had three litters of Kimberley Blue Tongues arrive on xmas day. Some have just had their 4th slough and they are 5 days away from being 2 months old.

No speckles on their heads yet. I can't remember when or at what age they started to appear on their parents.

Beautiful skinks! You have some real lookers there. Do you have the overall lengths on your adult kimberlies? I have heard that they are frequently longer than other northerns. They always seem to look long and skinny to me compared to the other northerns too.

Looking good rory,speckles on my last years ones developed all over the shop,some by 4 months,a couple only recently around a year of age now

Jeff i have always thought the nt northerns get bigger on average than kimberley forms,but im sure a kimberley has the potential to be just as big,ive never heard of many into the over 60 cm length size though have numerous times with nt types,one over 80cm in length which is quite remarkable

They are like the Northern versions of Katrina's Merauke Rollie! Lots of bands!
The last one is unique looking for a Kimberly.

They are all around that 50-55cm mark ( that's right, measurements should be metric ...get with the times people!! :lol: )
Of course , blueys won't sit still on the measuring mat that I use for fishing.

The female that is from ,is a different line than the others.
