Does pink tint on scales indicate sepsis?

Does pink tint on scales indicate sepsis?

I noticed my bluey has a pink tint on his scales. I heard that its an indication of a sepsis infection. Is it?

While it is possible that pinkness could indicate septicemia, I would estimate that in about 99.7% of the time in BTS, it does not. Currently I have two Northerns are are pink enough that I could sell them as a "morph". These will both shed within days and after that there will be no sign of pink left whatsoever. It is part of the normal shed cycle for some BTS. It is more common in lighter colored skinks.
