Aspen snake bedding

Postby Reptile- mad » Mon Feb 04, 2013 1:20 am

So today I got some aspen snake bedding since I was recently using pine until I heard that wasn't very good, the problem is it is not the aspen shaves and we cannot get them here in SA but its the aspen splinters, is this still okay to use? Smudge does like to bury himself if it isn't what other substrates should I use? Thanks!

It might pay to look around a bit for different substrates. All the aspen I have seen for sale in Australia is way expensive.
