Update + Sex?

Hello! It's been a while since I posted about my little baby Northern, Mortimer! :P He was born in the beginning of June this year (6th I believe) and weighs 221 grams since Tuesday!

I currently think he/she is in brumation...I don't see him/her very often, I don't see basking, minimal to no eating (I offer food), and no weight loss since last month (in fact he/she gained approximately six grams since last month?). I've seen Mortimer drink a few times and hop into a little box once when I placed it into the enclosure, but so far from what I've been reading it sounds like he/she is brumating? :? Can anyone confirm my suspicions?

Also, I'm not sure at what age you can attempt to sex a bluey at, but I thought I'd post pictures to see if anyone might have an idea. :) The first two pictures are taken with my cell phone, so I do apologize for the poor quality. Just to make up for it, I'll throw up an older, clearer picture when Mortimer was a little lighter and more roly poly (the last picture also represents his true colors more...my cell's flash sucks). :P

Im leaning towards female, but pics can be decieving with youngens

Timings right for brumation, even with day heat still if they sense cooling outside they will brumate, usually with lower outside temps back ground temps in enclosures indoors can drop enough for them to brumate with no issue, they stl move about abit but no or little eating and resting in cooler area if cage is classic sign of brumation

Your northerns looking great,a nice example of its species

Thanks for the compliments! :D I can't wait to see how nice he/she looks when she's an adult!

Currently the room Mortimer's enclosure is in has a temperature stays around 76ºF ambient...I guess when he/she wants to brumate, I really can't stop it!

Should I take a few clearer pictures directly from above and below to try and get a better idea? :? I'm not planning on breeding, but I want to know if I'm going to be calling him/her Mortimer anymore if it turns out to be female! Does anyone else have an idea based on the current pictures posted?
