Very slow start for them this season,still not at full speed,normally they have bred by noe and devouring food like theres no tommorrow,no males have shed yet

wow, its pretty cool seeing that many eat out of the same bowl. We cant even have more than 6 of the same species down here

Thats just a few of them,wasnt overly warm yesterday arvo,a few still preferred to bask,1 sign they arent fully into eating yet us u fed them a third of what they normally get and it wasnt all gone after 2 hours,normally 3 times or more as much is gone with in 5 minutes,lol

wow lol. it'd be incredible to watch that many eating so much food so quickly. I plan on finding out about the scientific permit over here because i would love to breed my blotchies but with the normal permit you cannot have more than 6 adults, and it wouldnt be easy giving blue tongues away to good potential owners down here. so many naive people that think they are just cool to have and dont actually care for them. One guy i talked to who i was going to recommend to someone who had a blotchie to give away was telling me how he keeps 16 little dragons in the same enclosure until they are bigger, I told him it would be best to research them more and realise that is crazy to do to the poor little things especially considering i was concerned he was going to put the blue tongue in with a dragon. dragons are quite territorial i believe, though i dont know much about them. but obviously more than him..

Similar scenes at my house. Great to see them start to chow down. :-) Some of my males are holding off though - other things on their minds.

Haha scott,some of mine are still holding out,unfortunatly not just males and only other thing on there mind is basking,lol

That is fantastic Richard, Alisabeth is also eating heaps as well for a Blotchy this time of year.
