I wouldn't stress to much, a lot of people rarely get to see their skink drink. He/She is most likely drinking just without you seeing :) If it is showing any sign of being quite stressed even after a while of being in its new enclosure, keep an eye on it. Other than that I bet its drinking when you aren't around.
Congrats on getting your skink, lots of pictures????

It might be more interested in hiding, being in new surrounds, may not have adjusted to water bowls either,a good way to teach them is put the near water bowl and dip finger in it and drip it on there nose,if thirsty they will lap at it,then put nose near waterbowl even dip nose if it lets u,dont force it though, once they start they learn that where they go to get a drink

Agreed! Once they start exploring the tank and getting to know where everything is, they definitely don't forget where they can hydrate themselves! I see Spyro at his water bowl all the time! He loves to hang out around it and drink plenty of times a day. Surprisingly he doesn't mind me staring at him or even petting him when he does it, he continues on without a problem lol. I think it just takes time for them to adapt.
