Brand new to this forum! Found many helpful tips about getting my bts adjusted properly so thanks for that!
I received my IJ (I believe it's an IJ anyway) about a week ago from a rescue (dog and cat rescue, they didn't seem to know what they were doing with a reptile) and have been making minor adjustments to his surroundings since then. When I recently visited my local pet store I noticed a substrate that was visually appealing to me that they were using in their tanks (with a bts and uromastyx). One of the associates said it was white millet seed. Since pet stores are not always (or usually) the best source of information I wanted to double check that this substrate wasn't high risk for impaction. Seems to me it has similar texture to walnut shells so I am wary to use it. I would like to, but not at the expense of my bts' health. The poor guy didn't have a light of any kind, just a heat rock! 
Anyway, do any of you have experience using white millet seed as substrate, and if so (or not, any opinion helps), how does your bts react to it? Any impaction issues? Thanks!
