And friendly as can be!!! After a week and a Half I finally mustered the cOurage to deal with the huffing and grabbed her. And by god she is so freaken cute. Climbing up my shirt and crawling on my hands! What a relief.

Anyways, in the midst of the excitement, and not at the risk of keeping her out too long on her first visit, I snapped a couple pics. They are rough pictures, because, like I said, We were shaking with excitement! But now I will be able to start snappin some better pics so keep posted.

Awww! It is great to see you finally got to bring her out!! Congrats! She is such a pretty girl! I bet you guys are going to have lots of fun together in the future.

What a cutie! I'm glad that she is starting to adjust to you. What in the world is she eating? It looks so big!
Usually the huffing is just like 'whoa, why are you disturbing me' and once you have her out for a while she should settle down a bit

I hear ya. The first time I got mealworms I was so excited that I just fed her the first one in the container, which turned out to be a little bit to big for her.

She is! When I put her back in her enclosure, I laid my hand in the substrate, and she turned around and climbed up my arm again! That leads me to believe she isn't HATING her time with me?

She crawled up your arm? To me that is great progress! As long as she is doing something happy with you (eating, exploring etc.) I don't think she can hate her time out of the tank. Congratulations!!

That's exactly what I was thinking. I gave her the opportunity to run back into her tank and into a hide if she wanted ( which I fully expected ), and she just sat in my hand for 30 seconds, then turned around and started climbing! It made me feel so !good to see my patience working out for me. Thanks!
