Lucky New Cage for Indiana
So i went to a local pet store called Burts Pet Supply (Dont know if they have em anywhere else but there are a few around here) and while i was there someone was returning a TetraFauna delux sliding door habitat which is a 36x19x16 glass cage. Well the cage was $195 and was being returned because apparently there is a Drain in the bottom of the cage that you have to install yourself with parts provided and the parts were not provided and the cage was going to be for a turtle so the guy could no longer use it because he needed the drain system to work. Well the guy didnt have his receipt and so the store wouldnt take it back and he was very upset so i offered him $100 for it and he tried to bargain but that wasnt happening and eventually he caved in and i ended up with a $200 cage for $100. And My little Indiana is starting to get not so little now as he is in between 13 and 14 inches long now. And the cage was a decent upgrade in size than what he is in now (i was actually there looking for a new cage anyway and this was just convenient) and so i took it home set it up found out the drain system was a small hole in the bottom of the cage that was supposed to have parts that you install there...fixed it by laying down a layer of repticarpet over the bottom layer of the cage then went on to set it up right. Indy took to the cage very well and was exploring the cage well past his usually im gonna go burrow for the night time. So hes happy im happy and i have some money to spare on whatever catastrophe is about to happen because i very rarely get this lucky. He really like the pvc pipe i have in his cage and he spends alot of time climbing on top of it or his half log.
