What to eat, what to eat?

Well from a very fast response on here with my previous post I would like to ask another question. My bts is about 3months old i believe and I would like to now if there is a more recommended diet for one that age? I was thinking of ordering some silkworms from ladysilkworm.com for a special treat here and there. Anyone else use that site? I was thinking of mustard greens, peas and maybe tegu/monitor food in a can that the shop I got the bts from was using. At least until I find some premium dog food to use in place of the tegu/monitor food. Any recommendations for dog food?

it is much better to pick a regular dog food to mix with the mustard greens, in my opinion, rather than the tegu mixes. as long as you dont pick something very odd. the reason i think so is because finished mixes are not to make up more than 30% of the animals diet in some cases, not sure how it is with tegu diets and blueys overall either.

i cant tell you directly which brands are good in your area, but "wellness" is very popular. myself i alternate between cesar (which seems to be of very varying qualtiy in different countries, but here its a premium brand) and other smaller brands on occasion.

silkworms are great - dont know about the website though, sorry.

note that peas are quite sweet veggies and probably shouldnt be fed with every feeding :> try to find squash instead, and some others too. theres so many odd veggies when you start looking xD

Thank you for the response. For just today i gave my BTS (Nugget) callard greens, Blue holistic recipe dog food with mixed veggies in it along with a couple blueberries cut in half. The dog food is organic to. And Nugget chowed it down fast. I also gave him a goliath worm ( i think thats what its called there green).
