Age of my Skink?

Hi Blue Tongue community!
I just got my blue tongue today and would like to know what age he/she is and if its a northern skink. I do believe it is a northern skink but always good to get another opinion. Here of a couple photos for you to see.And does he/she look about to shed? :D

That is a northern. It appears to be just a few months old.

Thank you, that was a very fast response i got :D only question left is, does it look like it might shed soon? colors do not look as bright as some i have seen but it could just be how the skink looks. Sorry haven't figured out a name yet for him/her

when they are so small, it is very hard to determine how they will look as adults.
and they also shed more frequently~

i think its a northern too. tiiiny little northern :D

When they're young and growing they are almost constantly going from one shed cycle to the next it seems. The babies are also a great deal darker than the adults. You'll probably notice him getting lighter after a few sheds.
