Hi I have been a fan of the website for some time now but never registered but on wednesday i got my baby eastern bts (Evie) from a breeder in Kildare so i thought i would introduce us .

i agree with jeff,nice looking skink,looks ij rather than eastern,with a really long indo like tail,though it appears to have a bit of eyebanding to,so can see why perhaps it appears eastern to you

looks very nice non the less,be nice seeing how it develops

Thanks for the advice im going to ring the breeder i saw the parents and they were lovely, the father was silvery grey and the mother, after looking at the pictures on the main website looked a bit like an irian jaya thanks everybodys so welcoming and i will post some more pictues as she grows maybe shes a hybrid and it would be really cool if u could post some pics of ur eastern plus do only ij have pink bellys because hers is slightly pink and her neck is slightly orage ill post a pic as soon as posible

I just saw the pictures of jeffs eastern and Evie doesnt really look like ur little juvenile i think ill do a bit more investigation

a few species get the pink flush on the tummy,it even comes and goes in some

also babies of each species are highly variable,as are adults,sometimes you need to look at lots of pics to find one similar,for example,jeffs baby eastern looks nothing like any ive had,but mine have been the more southern variety,jeffs little tyke looks more like a southeast qld/northern nsw type example patterning wise
