Hey all hope ur all going well :)...

I've had a bearded dragon for about 8 months now, but now i am thinking off buying a BTS :).. so i was thinking that i would put my bearded dragon in a 120cm length tank and then put my BTS in the 90cm tank that my beardie is in now :), i am very excited and going to do a lot off research on them :), also of course look at the caresheet on this forum :)

any tips or anything important i should know about them, that would be great..

Thx Brendan!

Welcome! I personally reviewed the caresheet around 30 times lol :P
The more you review BTS and read through the forums, the more information you'll have jammed up in your head.
Everyone on this site, especially the really experienced members, give amazing information and put you at ease when you're having a difficult time understanding what would be best for your BTS.
Just read through the caresheet as many times until you have a great understanding and stay on this site because you'll always tend to come across threads that are extremely useful :) good luck!

As AnnaMOnroe says, reading the caresheet over and over is a good idea. Its amazing how many little things you can miss the first time around.
I would suggest the most important thing is to start out with purchasing your BTS through a recommended breeder. Also be certain your life circumstances will coincide with owning a lizard that can live 20 years! That is a huge commitment!

Welcome to the Forum!(:
I just recently purchased my first Northern Bluey baby. He had quite the attitude which earned him the name Rudie.
I read through the care sheet about a billion times making sure I had everything right. My BTS loves the pedigree wet dog food in beef. I just mix in some vegetable and fruit and he is good to go! I also use Aspen shavings. They keep in the moisture really well! I can not wait until you get one. They are SUCH a joy to have :D

Welcome! I just got a baby northern last week. Like everyone else has said, the caresheet was very helpful to me, as well as this forum. You can search anything in the search bar at the top and almost always there is already a thread on the question that you have. :D

personalities vary, even in just one species,as to what type to get,all i can say is the one you like, they are all great, brst to get a genuine captive bred one though, northerns are probably the most commonly bred form in your neck of the woods but therrs a few others to
