First foray into Blue tungued Skinks

Postby Kahlypso » Sat Jul 07, 2012 4:14 pm

Being the cautious one that I am with online transactions, can anyone reassure me regarding the validity of Bluetongueskinks.net? Nothing against them personally, but whenever i hear "checks/money order only" one out of a number of red flags flies up. Im thinking about reserving a baby bluey from them, and id love some reassurance that someone isnt gonna take my validated check and run off. haha

I've never bought from them so I have no proof, but I have never heard of any complaints. I've heard from a handful of people here on this forum who bought from Zach and Holly (the owners of the website) and have had great experiences. I plan on buying from them too, but since I am local I will be able to just pay in cash and forgo the shipping process. You should email them and talk to them for yourself, bluetongueskinks@gmail.com is the address.

Hello!
I felt the same way when I was looking into a BTS here because you never know! I did not buy from them but I bought my baby bluey, Rudie, off of Jeff. He is an administrator on this website. When I was first looking into breeders he recommended them to me, so I imagine they are OK :)

I can assure you that Zach is legit. He is not runnIng a scam. I am so confident of that, that I am willing to guarantee it myself. If you have any problem, just let me know and I will make it right.

Zach is a school teacher with a heart of gold. Skinks from him come with extra helpings of love and friendly advice. He may also offer you a glass of wine should you head out his way :)

I am third on reservation list at the moment, and I couldn't be more confident and excited about purchasing a bluey from Zach! I email him a lot and he always makes me feel comfortable about my decision. Definitely buy from Zach if you're purchasing a bluey :D

I'm in Canada, and therefore I can't really purchase from him, but when I started thinking about getting a bluey, I emailed him with some questions, and he was happy to help. I always look kindly upon breeders who are willing to help people who they KNOW will not or cannot buy from them, just for the sake of the animal. :) It's clear to me that he cares!

I have bought a skink from Zach and Holly, and can, without any hesitation, assure you that you would be in good hands, with an awesome skink, should you choose to purchase from them. You have no cause for worry in regards to transactions with Bluetongueskinks.net
