Does your skink fart?

Okay firstly, I apologize in advance for the odd question but I'm DYING to know.

Everytime Kupo poops/pees, he farts along with it. Like, a squeaky pooooo-eet sound, like those prank fart bags. I call it his pee-fart, although I guess technically it should be a fart-pee as the fart came first.

On the plus side, I guess I get a little warning sound before he does anything. Just yesterday I heard his fart while he was on my lap and I quickly called for my boyfriend to run and grab me a towel.

That is how I found out that Boon was a boy. I heard him fart and watched for hemipenes. LOL, no Kupo is not the only one

yep, zergling does it the most, but he is hit or miss if he goes anything afterwards...I think he knows that it gets him put down very quickly
The others do it occasionally, usually when they are about to go. I've never heard my snakes do it though...

But then again, he has never peeded or pooped on me - nor have I seen him do so in his enclosure. Maybe he is just too afraid of embarassing himself?

First off, the subject line made me crack up so I felt obliged to post.

Gauge farts even when she starts to pee so I have pretty much no warning whatsoever. That was how I knew when she makes her craps so I timed it to where I could check for any hemipenes - none so far so I'm continung to assume that Gauge is indeed female (going to feel really bad if I catch some one day after calling Gauge a chick all this time! ). I must say I had no idea that lizards could fart before I got her.

Actually, I've found that all of my snakes and both blue tongues fart just a second before they drop a huge load of smelly on me or their cage. None of my geckos or my beardies and desert iguana do that, nor does my savannah monitor. Well, one beardie did when his last treat was papaya and mango, haha. I think blueys are definitely blessed with the worst farts though. I wish my reptiles gave me a countdown warning like all yours do. I just have enough time to (seriously) put my hand under their butts and catch it before it gets on clothes, carpet, or furniture. It is disgusting how many times I have caught runny poo in bare hands.
