Sid the IJ (Pic Heavy)

Ok, so here is Sid, in reverse chronological order. As some may know, Sid has been undergoing treatment from septicemia, and has a few issues regarding his toes which were lost to lack of bloodflow but is on the mend and is becoming increasingly more active. He also, in the week before he was taken to the vet, began to develope a little bit of a crusty, dry and what I though to be an infected eye. You will be able to see his eye in some of the pictures, and a scab on his mouth, which, looked to have healed (as seen in some pictures) but the vet didnt seem too worried about that, because of the scab dropping off when shedding.

The pictures show him at multiple stages whilst being in my care, and has been quite the few months. Im sure you will agree in saying his enclosure looks far batter now, than it did. Not to mention he won a photo competition, which entitles me to free gift vouchers to spend at a local reptile shop, which i think will be invested in a new T5 Lighting system, which will also free up space on the back wall ans it will be mounted to the roof, allowing me to then implement a foam rock background, to then make his enclosure as natural as possible.

His eye has dramatically perked up, with regular bathing and rinsing, something which I will have to upload a photo of later.

IJ's, meraukes, and indos are all extremely similar looking it's a common mistake

I thought Merauke too because of the speckled front legs. I thought IJ have plane front legs.

I thought Sid was a he when I first got him, but now im leaning toward him being a she, what do you guys thing?

hmm...my untrained eye guesses female - but they may need a better bird's eye shot to determine....
