Broodlord on a 5 month fast!? HELP!!

So Broodlord was eating great before she went into brumation (october 2011)...now that shes "awake" she hasnt eaten at all (since January). She comes out to bask once or twice a week, but she hasnt become active like she used to be. Is it possible she is still brumating? Her temps are all normal , hot side 95*F, cold side 80-81*F. She will occasionally eat ONE Dubia, or a small piece of banana, but ignores all other foods. I took her to the vet 4/21 but the vet said she wasnt impacted, she only had 1 pinworm in her fecal, so we dosed with panacur, but she still wont eat!! The vet also said it was possible she was still brumating because our Western Washington temps outside have only hit 80*F one day last week (even though her cage isnt really affected by that!). She has lost some weight but not a whole lot.

Oh, and I did NOT brumate her on purpose, she just did it on her own. Is it possible she will come out of it on her own independent of my temps? She just spends all of her time snoozing in her hide! I'm ok with it if shes brumating but I am a little worried as this last winter was the first full winter I had all the blueys, and my first experience ever with brumation.

Has she lost much in the way of weight? I wouldn't worry about it if she's not dropping weight. I'd guess that once the outside temp bumps up she'll come around again, and then you get to watch the weight build up.

weight loss has been minimal...Its going to be weird if she sleeps/fasts half the year! Our temps around here are normally pretty low, and our summers are VERY short. Thank goodness no one else is putting me through this nailbiting worry

Onyxia brumated for 6 months last year and even in the summer he didn't have very much of an appetite. If he's not losing a lot of weight I wouldn't worry.

WOW 6 months!! geeze! I guess I may be in for a long wait! Meh, I suppose I could look at it as one less mouth to feed...X_x

Lol I thought Onyxia was a girl for about 6 months (breeder was sure it was a girl) then he dropped sperm plugs but the name was too cool to change.

Yeah one less mouth to feed is how I look at it too, even though I do miss the little bugger when he sleeps for so long!

I just hope that when Onyxia gets up in the spring that he's in a better mood than he was last year. He's decided he doesn't like/is scared of my new partner and takes off into his cave whenever he hears or sees him!
