What happens if aspen gets ingested?

What happens if shredded or shaved aspen gets ingested? I have kupo on aspen and I'm just worried what happens if he accidentally eats one. :S

one will probably pass out the other way.

fifty will be a blockage.

(not set numbers lol, but make sure nothing is ingested when feeding by using a large feeding plate)

It can cause impaction, but just being 1 small piece he will probably be fine. You can try a warm bath to help digestion also.

make sure u always feed him in the food bowl and u should be fine.. however if many shavings were ingested it may cause an intestinal blockage so remove food that has rolled into the shavings blueys are very tough reptiles alittle shaving here or there doesnt pose any concern

try not to let it happen, but if it is only a very small amount they should be fine. Also, i've been told that well hydrated animals have much less chance of impaction than otherwise.
I think of it like this: I'm eating a muffin...my spazzy self doesnt pay attention and ...oops! I just swallowed a piece of wrapping. X_X. Will i get impacted? no. If i start eating a bunch of muffin wrappers I might have an issue

From your avatar it looks like you use the shredded Aspen, unless he's eating mouthfulls with his food you shouldn't see an issue, might tickle on the way out though hahaha.
