I remember some of the old threads, and have used the search function. I know WHAT I want to feed when I switch, but not the logistics behind it.
My questions are as follows (and i'm sorry if this was posted somewhere, I really could not find it).
When feeding, I want to feed Dubia, Snails, the occasional rodent, greens, veggies, etc. I specified on the snails and dubias, because i know my greens and veggies arent going to run away, I dont really have questions about those or what to feed.
*How would I feed a balanced diet without them going for the snails and dubias first, and then ignoring the salad?
*Should I feed the Dubias and snails as separate feedings from the salad? I'm worried they will just wait for the next feeding of the more appealing items, and again, ignore the salad. Only one or two of my skinks could eat twice a week, the others only eat once, and ignore the food if fed more often.
I'm NOT grinding up dubias/snails/rodents in my food processor. Would it be easier? Yes. My bf would flip, and honestly the thought squicks me out too.
These may sound like dumb questions, but any help would be awesome!

Every meal starts with a small salad. If they eat the salad, they can fill up on protein yummies.

I agree - veggies first - then the treat (roaches etc). But then again, the famous "it depends of the skink" will probably come into play.
Skeeter gets his veggie mix with small amount of cesar moist dog food along with snails once a week. Sometime during the week (usually wednesdays) he will get a roach. My colony is just establishing - so it depends on how many are ready to feed; size wise.
Afterwards, on Wednesday - he will get a fruit treet (bannana or strawberry - what ever I have around). He is doing well with this, and occasionally, if no fruit is available - his mid week snack is squash. He eats the squash without disquising it with dog food
But as said before, it depends on the skink. Basically, whatever you need to do to hide the veggies so they will eat it.
