BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

Has your Blue Tongue have any cool markings? Mine has what looks like a number 1 on his head and he has a box shape marking near base of tail just above the legs. I will post pics later, Please post pics.

some of the ones i keep in groups have number 2 marks on there heads,but it washes off


some do have funky marks on them,some get a bow tie look set of scales near the tip of there snout,others have weird banding that some times looks like a letter or 2,some are funky colored,one thing i dig about them is there is so much variety,and something different always pops up

Courtesy of Richards observations, Zeke has a 'Z' on his back!! He also has white spots, and a black spot stripe thing in the middle of his head~ I also love the way his front legs are black, but his back legs are stripy, but I think thats typical of centralians

yeah nae,leg thing is typical,i love that to,especially the banded legs,looks like a wheres wally lizard,some show the banding on back legs alot better than others though

not really in any of mine, i really like the uniform look in striping or banding. Unless they are totally scattered and crazy markings, I like symmetry

My Merauke has double banding, I have been told it is an interesting trait. I think someone else on here has one like it as well but they arent from the states. If ML sees this he will chime in with the members name Im sure lol

My Merauke has a cool swirl and a heart on his right side. For some reason my pics are too big to upload so here's a video where you can see him trying to move a tv ( ) and the markings right near/behind his right front leg.

My Halloween Mask Leopard Gecko has really cool markings too. Behind each eye it looks like sunglasses (the part that goes on your ear), he has a perfect heart encircled on his back, and there is an L near his tail, which is funny since that's the first letter of my name. Or if you look at the heart as a nose, it looks like a smiley face around it. My favorite is the perfect heart though. Here's a video from the other month.
