I had a lot of emails out to a lot of people regarding babies, or even young BTS in general. Most came back negative, some with alarmingly limited info, and many simply didn't respond at all. As a last shot in the dark, I made a few phone calls to exotic pet stores in my general area, not really expecting anyone to have them (haven't seen a BTS in a pet store since I first encountered one 8 years ago). One actually had one, and I was just shocked to death. Drove 40 minutes JUST to see it. Handled it and loved it right away. No missing toes or battle scars, and no bugs that I could find.
So! Since the employee there knew zilch about him/her, I wanted to ask you guys for a guess on the type and sex. This one is absolutely not for breeding or anything of the like, so sex ID is purely for naming purposes. I just have a feeling your guys' educated guesses will be better than mine, since my only experience with BTS have been with the ONE I've had for 7 years.

Belly is pretty orange, though you can't really tell from this awful lighting. Under the chin as well.
A few oddly colored scales on the top of the head. They don't look like they shed when the rest came off, which the employee said was some 10 days ago.
