Eastern temperature requirements
I'm slowly gathering information on skinks. Are the temperature requirements for Easterns and Northerns the same?

Re: Eastern temperature requirements
There is a difference between what is required, and what is ideal. If you look at the range of the Australian scincoides, you will see that the area they occupy is HUGE. There are major differences in the climate and physical characteristics from one locale to another.
All scincoides are very hardy and can adapt to a wide range of temperatures, so it is not generally a problem to keep them in the same temperatures, but personally I keep my easterns that likely originated from a southern locale a little bit different than I keep my northerns that are from up north.
