Finally, they are coming home:)
If and thats a big IF the weather holds out next week, my Northerns will finally be coming home. They are scheduled to be sent out on the 27th for overnight delivery. Expect pics when they finally get here. Oh, any help with names would be great too:)

Re: Finally, they are coming home:)
Temps have been a major hold up for delivery of these guys but really, with good packing and 48 hour heat packs there shouldn't be any trouble. I've gotten snakes shipped when it was below zero and they arrived warm.
There will be plenty of pictures, no worries there:)
Not really feeling the names blue and bob, a bit too common for my liking. I prefer unique or odd names. I still haven't named my Indo either.

Re: Finally, they are coming home:)
For names... if you plan to get more, I'd go with a theme. Make it easier and usually unisex helps (although you know your genders). My mom started naming some of mine after places (Phoenix, Nevada, Roswell) and so I've stuck with that and added Bermuda, but I have a bunch that don't fit the theme, so I wish I had started earlier!
There are some cool plants / flowers out there, that might be an interesting theme?

That was funny
Then I remember that a squash isn't a fruit...

Coomassie is named after a blue dye I use in my lab. I also named all my crested geckos after hops, ie the stuff that makes beer bitter, varieties so I have Citra, Galena, Amarillo, Zeus, and Simcoe. My leos don't have any kind of reasoning behind them. Usually, a name comes to me once I have the animal.

Re: Finally, they are coming home:)
I have tried to stay with a Greek/Roman Mythology theme for most of my pets (examples; we have 2 Cats-Zues & Athena, a cat that passed was Pandora, in the past Cupid) Now we have BTS Thor, our new female BTS will be Calypso. There are so many names to choose from, just google Greek mythology or God/Goddesses and you will find many ideas.

I'd kinda like a theme but not sure which to go with. Generally, I lean towards some kind of mythology too but was thinking I'd like something different this time. Food might work but nothing like fruits, maybe some kinds of dessert like Flan and Brulee.
