Getting a new Skink!

Looks like I will be getting a new addition to our skink family! I am going to give TimeoutGizmo's Queen Mosh a new home. If you could take a look at her post about what size box to purchase for shipping that would be great! We want to make she the big girl gets to my house safely!! Also temps next week are not going to be as warm as this week. They are forcasting mid 50's day, night lows 40-42 will this be ok (keep in mind these are my temps) skink will be traveling through Memphis TN, which is much warmer overnight and to my house by 10:30 am. just needs to be big enough for it to coftably fit in with padding,eg strips od newspaper above and below the contained animal for protection

Does it need to be bigger then the skink Options 30"X16"X10 or 16"X16"x8" or 15"x 11"x 7"

one of the 2 smaller ones i reckon,they will curl up generally anyways,plus easier to keep them protected in the smaller 2 sized ones,30 as in inches is pretty big,ive had 4 and a half foot monitors in ones around that size,if it was me id go with one of the smaller ones 16x16x8 inches is still plenty roomy for an adult

They don't need to be straight length wise, they can have their tail curled. Enough room to have them in a pillow case or bag with newspaper or some sort of packing material around them, I think the 30" x 16" would be overkill. If the temps are getting too cold there are good "Small Pet" warmers that supply 40 hours of heat but don't get more than about 100 F, you can add a couple of those.

For an adult Merauke and a baby Northern I was told a 16x11x9 box would work (with space for insulation and heat packs). Would definitely be big enough for a single adult.
