Anywho, Im that happy with both a product and the customer service, Im willing to write a review in case it helps others!
Alright, I brought this for Zeke -

In a nutshell, the device controls 2 sources - A heating source (which can also be a light source if you are using a heat lamp, of course) and a lighting (or pump) source, both simultaneously and individually.
Heat source - The heat source can be anything that plugs into a socket - heat lamp, ceremic lamp, UTH etc. What the thermo does is turns the heat source on at a certain temp during the day, then at a different temp during the night. What times you want 'day' and 'night' to be are also adjustable. Mine for example comes on at 8 at 34 degrees hot spot, then drops down to 22 at either 7 or 8 (Cant remember) in the arvo.
Light source - The light source is completely regulated by timer - Mine comes on at 8, shuts off at 9. Nothing more too it....
The main screen is quite daunting at first, but once you get the gist of it quite nifty! It tells you stuff like whether the tank is currently warming up or cooling down, whether the day time or night time settings are in play, whether or not your lights are on (Handy if they blow I suppose~), the current temp and the time!
As for the seller - Excellent customer service. Fast postage, great packaging, and did I mention the customer service? Basically, I couldnt figure out how to work it for the life of me. Sent an email to ask if they perhaps were any knowledgeable in regards to using it, and sure enough at around 8.30 at night I had the seller on the phone guiding me through the set up! Now, one issue with the product is that the batteries are often bumped during transport, but again the seller just guided me through deconstructing the device and fixing the batteries - Easy as pie!
The one drawback is the alarm feature - Basically an alarm goes off if the temp is over the difference you have allowed (The difference is how much you allow the heat to go over the one you have set before an alarm goes off, normally only set to 2 or 3 more degrees). Sounds great right? Not when your device is set to drop from 34 to 22 - It has a panic attack at the fact that the temp is in the 30s while its only meant to be in the lower 20s when it switches to night.
I would still recommend a heat gun for testing temps in other areas of the tank however, but I find this perfect for regulating the basking spot and the lighting!
Because of the fact the thermostat constantly switches off the heating device throughout the day, I recommend a ceramic globe - That way you dont have the flashing lights!
I brought this one from them also - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/130497261269
So yeah, just thought Id pop that up there for anyone interested!!
