gravid western update
well im still waiting,im almost in doubt mode now, lol, but shes still barely interested in food, and still showing all the signs and still holding her weight,as aposed to her pig guts male cage mate who goes fat then skinny between meals, must be gravid westerns elsewhere as im always last to get bubs, lol
on a plus note, hopefully picking up a pr of wa westerns tommorrow, from the geraldton area they are captive bred from a line that originated there anyways, the male was loaned to another keeper for breeding this season and the female it bred had 5 babies recently, hopefully thats the kick in the pants my northern south australian lass needs, lol
the blotchies shouldnt be faroff dropping now as well,so may have some pics to show soon

Re: gravid western update
good question kbell,i hadnt really payed attention to the dark snout,i know some of my alpines also have a black snout, the westerns dont appear black snouted when u look close, its more like the back of head color goes to there snout with lighter color coming up to meet it from the jaw,as to other skinks the all black easterns have it obviously, and dark eastern stumpies to,but yeah they are dark all over, ill try and get some outdoor pics of my westerns faces ect, will show what im rabling on about
oh picked up the wa western pr today, from occi, plus 6 juvie new england cunningham skinks as well, thanks again mate if you read this, beautiful animals
