basking skills?

what in the world? D: i was going to take a random photo of him (since its been too long since i contributed) while he was basking and not running around destroying his cage. and......

why? is it a basking technique?

notice he is one tone more yellow? im sorry i posted this separatedly from my other post, it felt more right to post them separatedly since they have different purposes.

Litchie is just stunning. Really beautiful!!

Mine tend to flatten right out when basking. If they are all puffed up it is because I've startled them. Not sure what he is doing there, but the pics are great! Love the colors!

thanks, ill be sure to tell him ;D its so sad i cant buy him a few skink ladies so he can show off. he is kinda "small-looking" weight wise so maybe hes just.....trying to look healthy.....or something xD or hes half centralian......dont they do like that sometimes?

its great that ive been able to maintain his health for a year now. thanks to all the help ive gotten here im now really starting to understand my one and only skink pretty well. though his recent behaviour is quite odd and funny.

did anyone notice the glass on the first photo? i clean it daily now......he breathes on it and dives into his water dish and then climbs on the glass.....so its not because ive been slacking off. he really keeps me busy in a good way. i need more skinks xD
