Our First BTS, a Merauke (?) named Napoleon

Postby Gesang » Tue Feb 21, 2012 9:38 pm

Hey there! We joined this forum the other day while awaiting the shipment of our newest pet/family member. He/she finally arrived today. No weight or measurements yet and don't know its age. But we named it Napoleon. After being introduced to BTS at an elementary school outreach program (we were there with our chameleons) I just fell in love. What got me most was how their skin feels like polished mahogany. Napoleon is so mellow and sweet. I opened his box at Fedex to make sure he was OK. On the way home in the car he popped his head out of the box, looked around for a few minutes, then crawled out and crossed over to my lap and sat there. So cute.

Very nice merauke. Congratulations. He looks pretty young, and least under a year. It is hard to tell for sure, but that would be my guess.

Thank you for your kind words guys. Yes, we were hoping he's a young one so he's not too set in his ways already.

Totally keep us update with more pics as he grows! Would be interested in seeing how his pattern changes (if at all) as he grows. Just so pretty.
