Temperatures

I have heard that the best thing to detect the temperatures in the cage is the lazer temperature detector things. Until I get one of those, what is the best way to know how hot my basking rock is?

A digital thermometer with probe. Place the probe directly on the basking area and give it at least a hour before reading the temp.

To be very general, put your hand on the rock after it's been under the light a couple hours. It should be fairly warm. If you feel like you need to pull your hand away it's probably too hot.

probe thermostats the go,good to know what temps really are,lets u learn what your animals prefer and u can also tell cool end temps to
