I believe her name is Jenn from LLL Reptile. She mentions a lot of food that I was not familiar BTS could eat. I have seen some the items including the Can-o-pillars and snails at the local Petco store.
Are the food items she mentions okay?

I'm pretty sure that's hurricaneJen on this site. We had a big debate about dog food with her.
Yeah they are all ok to feed. I'm not to sure about the nature zone bites. I've heard different opinions on them.

Like she said, variety is ideal. All of those are fine to feed. I'm not sure that they are better than any of the other options, but adding those type of things in is great. I would rather not feed stuff like beardie pellets because there are lots of fillers, food coloring and crap in there, but you can feed them in moderation. BTS can eat most anything, just stay away from the few toxic fruits / veggies and try to stick to the 50/40/10 ratio for greens and veggies / protein / fruit.
You'll note that her ideal diet consists of foods you can buy at the pet store.
ML - not everyone means Irian Jaya as in IJ the unclassified species. Lots of people mean Irian Jaya as in Indonesian BTS (you'll see this on kingsnake all the time). She did correctly specify T. g. gigas.

Re: Are all the foods mentioned here, okay to feed?
lol okay thanks for clearing that up.
I had seen the dragon food/pellets at the store and thought that it would be a good to feed my BTS as part of a varied diet, seeing as I haven't been able to ween him over to veggies and other foods yet, unless I coat it with dog food. Even then he'll lick it until the dog food is gone and avoid eating it.

oh its so hard to resist making the quip i want
Fernando, at least he's getting protein right now, but if you have a food processor, or are patient, if you chop up the other foods, veggies and fruit and such REALLLLLLLY small, he cant help but eat them with the dog food. Thats what I do with my brood. Now they CANT pick out their greens...BWAHAHAHahahahaha

Re: Are all the foods mentioned here, okay to feed?
Only one brief mention of fresh greens in the diet and no other fresh vegetable or fruit gets a run. I feel really bad now as obviously I have been feeding mine incorrectly all along. Unfortunately I am too far away from California so will not be able to drop into that store and buy all those wonderful canned products they stock.
I guess mine will have to continue to be deprived with their unhealthy fresh food diet.

Yeah - all those foods are ok to feed, but I wouldn't feed canned fruit over fresh veggies and greens.
