Some people will try to guess the gender based on the shape of the skink's body, but this is ONLY a guess and still not 100% accurate. No one is able to tell you for sure if that is a male or female. In order to even make a guess, you would need to show us a photo looking straight down on the skink, with the skink's body straightened out, not all curled up like in the photo you showed us here.
Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
