Re: feeding
Don't worry - blue tongue skinks are quite easy to feed, you can offer all kinds of stuff. Pet stores generally recommend insects like crickets or meal works, although I'd feed those sparingly (not much protein or nutrients in them, especially for large lizards!). Locust are a decent choice. Pinkies are alright too, but quite fatty, so use sparingly. Make sure you are feeding about 40% protein, you can use all kinds of things like insects, chicken, beef, egg, canned dog food. The food chart is a good tool to help decide, don't be afraid to mix things up and try new items. Supplement with calcium. If you feed just insects you might have a tough time getting them to eat veggies and greens, so canned dog food or chicken etc are good for mixing finely chopped veggies and greens into.
