Male or female?
I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this skink is a male or female. It is a northern blue tongue skink that i just recently purchased as unsexed and i am not an expert. I am leaning towards male but I'm not 100% sure. He has good oranges and a pretty triangular head. The picture is pretty accurate of his coloring. Thanks for your help.

Just curious where in CA are you and from where this animal was purchased. Pet store, CL?
Their is no way to tell with that picture. Post a top down photo showing the animals entire body and we could guess...the only way to know for sure is dropping of sperm plugs if male.

There have been several similar threads lately where people are asking the same thing as you. Check through the threads on this page (or do a search on "sexing"), read through the advice and check out the pictures, and that will give you a better idea of what we need to see to be able to give you any thoughts on your guy (...or girl...).

Please read through the Caresheet. A couple of times even. And do a bunch of searches on the issues you still want to know more about. And if you have any questions or concerns ...or just general wonderings, let's hear them!
