As predicted, Clancy decided to shed as soon as her enclosure had a full clean.
It has been said a few times that blueys won't eat whilst shedding. I have never found that to be the case with the three blotchies. When they enjoy their food a shed doesn't get in their way.

Those are the best shedding pictures I have eveer seen for showing the contrast between the part that has already shed and the part that hasn't shed yet. Very nice!
Most of my skinks eat normally during their sheds. I actually have never had one not eat because it was in shed. I'm not sure where that idea came from.

Mine did not stop eating prior to shedding. She would come out to eat and then go back to hiding. And also this was right after a full cage clean. I hope to time that better in the future.

The only reptile that I have heard that will go off feed for shedding are snakes. Then again my two leopard geckos won't eat sometimes if they are really really close to shedding, but that isn't all the time. My experience is in snakes not eating...

Love the pics. Looks like Blotchies shed almost in one piece, Clancy is making that look like stepping out of a robe.
It is definitely a rule to time a shed and a big poop right after the enclosure is fully cleaned.

Yes we did get the double of shedding and a big poop, she also threw in a monster urate to complete the trifecta.

She did eat most of the meat first but there was some more mixed towards the bottom. It was all eaten. I put the not so clear pic of the greens hanging out of her mouth to show what a good girl she is where food is concerned.
