head scales
Larry has one scale on his head that doesn't always come off when he sheds . I usually have to rub it with a warm towel . This time it's been a week since he's shed and it's still there . I rubbed it with water and gave him a bath . Should I do anything else ?

Re: head scales
If it's been a week I would leave it alone.
Whenever my skinks have stubborn head scales, I try my best to catch them as they are, either starting to, or in the middle of the shed. At those times it is almost guaranteed that I catch all the stubborn ones as I can keep my eyes on which parts have come off, and which parts haven't yet. Past a couple of days after they have finished, unless it's digits or tail, I just leave them until the next shed, and try my best to catch them in action.

Re: head scales
There is not much else you can do. A head scale thaat doesn't shed well won't cause any problems unless you ignore it completely and 4 or 5 sheds build up on it. Just keep an eye on it and remove it like you have been and it will be fine.
