hello new to the forum~
btw can somebody define my bts?
i bought it as a halmahera, which relates to the indo gigas gigas
however just wondered if the bts experts have other ideas

also i think its a female

the first picture enclosue was a temporary cage

I honestly wouldnt have a clue in regards to species, but wow shes gorgeous!! :shock: Those colours!

i heard that the g.gigas from halmahera are quite reddish
is it true?
also i saw some bts named as snow halmahera
identifying local looks somewhat very hard for me

Yes you do have a halmahera indonesian blue tongue skink (Tiliqua gigas gigas). It isn't related to indonesian blue tongue skinks (Tiliqua gigas gigas), it is one! :lol: It is just a different locality (from a different region).
I have never heard of a snow halamahera blue tongue skink, but it is probably just a lighter color.

I'll agree with the gorgeous comments! What a looker :D Also, yes, she's a Halmahera Indonesian. Though to be truthful we only believe they're a locality of Indo, there's no proof so it's not a fact, just a theory. I assume the "snow" ones are the more black/white ones we've seen a couple times on the forum. That red color is something else though, just wow :D I definitely want some pretty Halmahera's someday soon. Till then, please keep posting pictures for me to drool over!
