BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

So with the help of the amazing BTS community I think I have managed to make a rescued skink a bit happier. I believe Sigmund is an Indonesian, and was told he is about 4 years old. I introduced he and I in another thread and since then have been just getting to know him and give him a happy life. Thought I'd post some nice pics for you guys to look at, he's lovely. Very lucky to have him!

You will see from the pictures he is not camera shy and loves to peer at us through the glass...he does this in the morning until I wake up and then after staring at me for a bit he potters about and has a bask.

Seems to be off his food at the moment??? I think his old owner spoilt him and fed him on morio worms banana and mango all the time so he does not like his greens, doesn't eat very often but does occasionally (likes very much to be hand-fed) but I offer fresh food regularly and know at this time of year they can lose their appetite a bit.

Anyways enough of me yakking... here he is after settling in for a few weeks...

merauke or indonesian???

I believe he's an Indo, I'm no expert but from the reading I've done on the forums and the info on the rest of the website he seems like an indo, bands not clean enough to be merauke, especially on his tail. very pale blue and half pink tongue also.

Whatever he is I love him! think he is now learning that when people come up to the tank he is not gonna be badly handled by excited chldren and is super friendly now.
