Jude: Female/male - Indo/merauke?

Hey! I believe Jude is an Indonesian, but a few pictures of a certain merauke got me wondering.
Also- I'd like a second opinion in gender, though I'm pretty sure she's female.

She had shed just before I went to bring her home, you can see her bright orangey-yellow colour:



And her mottled tail (goes on quite a bit longer then shown):



And here's compared to little Elliot, a merauke... he really wanted out when I took this picture and proceeded to reach up trying to get onto my phone/hand just after I took this:



In the 'Merauke' description on this website the first one is a bright yellow merauke, similar in colour to Jude with a more mottled looking tail then Elliot has and a few fine lines of black between head scales. Please check it out!

I'm fairly sure Jude is an indo... maybe just with less black.
Anyway, let me know what you think.

Oh yes, and she's 24" long, though I'm not sure how much that helps.

Im not an expert either but the tail makes me think an Indo, while the one stripe down the neck makes me think Merauke, maybe it is an in betweener? I know thats not the correct term but you get the idea.

That yellow one is an indo. That page hasnt been updated in a while.
It looks like a merauke.

mix? the speckled legs and head look like merauke and the tail looks like indo...

I'm leaning towards Merauke. Jude has no outlining on her head and her front legs aren't pure-black, but speckled. Those are big Indo traits and she's missing them. She also has two-color bands, which shouldn't happen on an Indo. While the speckling might be confusing it's not enough to be Indonesian-style.

Ya, I'm going to say Merauke. Ignore the base color (newer Meraukes are very bright anyways) and she's very Merauke.

Thanks for the challenge It took me several looks and really breaking it down into specific traits before I could see her as a Merauke The bright color makes her unique and very pretty.

Huh, looking at gender traits I originally assumed female because of her size, but now I'll guess he's a really big guy. Reason being his tummy does seem to angle down towards the back legs, and his tail is bulgy and gives me the idea he may be packing. This is just a big guess though.
