Does your skink stare at you?

Odd question, eh? Mine does! All the time! It's kind of creepy...he also watches tv. I'm not kidding. (He seems especially fond of the cooking channel. :lol:

) When I turn it on he'll come running to the end of his cage and just stare at it. Anyone else experience this?

Slurpy is always at the window scraping away (rubbed the lacquer right off over the years), and he also appears that he's staring.

mine won't stare at me, but when he hears anyone walk into the living room he comes out to see whats happening then goes back to what he was doing. he loves watching tv too.

Onyxia often comes out of his hide and watches me while I clean the rat cage out :lol:

Ruckus Always stares. Hes really good at it when im in his tank eithor cleaning or feeding him. He stops what he is doing and stares at me, almost in discust lol Its pretty funny.

When his tank used to be by the couch we would stare at each other for minutes.

He has no intrest in tv mind you.

Litchie, when outside, always stares from his basking spot if i walk past him and stay in the room.
if i accidentally looked at him directly he will do the tongue rolling and wait for food/treats, which he wont get so i dunno why he expects it xD

if i gave him a treat anyway he will stay on that exact same spot for the rest of the day waiting for more. (he gets treats every other week only)

so his staring is only related to food/treats. however, when i clean his terrarium, after a while he comes out to see if he can eat the things i use for cleaning /see what they are.

i think he liked my tv when i played videogames, maybe is should let him watch tv at low sound when im gone?

actually, can skinks even understand the concept of TV when they have such a hard time with glass?

Nice pic Jen! I love it!

The tank is right next to my couch too, so whenever I'm on the couch my skink is watching me. I don't know if he's actually watching tv, but he definitely stares in the direction of the tv. If I'm watching a movie, he'll literally sit there for 2 hours like he's watching it. When I turn it off, he'll go do something else.
