Nice skink! I've always found Easterns from the Brisbane area of Queensland difficult to separate from Irian Jayas but I would say that this is an Irian Jaya which looks fairly Eastern like, apart from the heavily marked front legs.
Mark.

I think you have a IJ x Meruke? Although I could be completely off the mark.

Agree 100%. I wouldn't be confident saying whether it is IJ or Eastern, I don't know enough about the Eastern variations. I'd want someone very experienced with Easterns to comment.
Welcome to the forum!!

Looks like an Irian Jayan, or perhaps a mix of some sort...perhaps Merauke x IJ?

It is a standard Irian Jaya. The Irian Jaya can be quite variable at times, but this one is a textbook Irian Jaya.

Thanks James! It is so great to have experienced people like you on the forum.
If that BTS were in North America I would assume that it is IJ, but I don't know the diversity of Easterns that are available in Europe.

You are always welcome. The tail length being that long, and the patterned front legs both rule out the possibility of it being an Eastern BTS.
