as i understand it, snails are pretty much a snack/treat.
however, snails with shells are a good treat as its also a calcium source and training for their mouth muscles(this was debated before so im not sure what the result was, but i think this is correct).
wait for others to give you more detailed info on this specific kind of snails!

Snails are excellent bluey food, one of the best feeders. Like it was said - if the shell is on, it is even better because of the added calcium.
As for the canned snail - are there any additives or anything else in the ingredients? I haven't fed them but if there isn't too much other stuff in there then it should be fine to feed quite often.

I think Can o' Snails are a great product. I use them as treats for my skink and they have developed into a major part of my Tokay gecko's diet. The gecko loves them and has learned to take them safely from forceps.
I usually have 10 or 15 cans in the cupboard. I get them from Petsmart.com because they frequently (and currently) have them on sale for $2 a can. Just this morning I ordered another 10 cans for a total of $26.70, well under $3 per can.

My blue tongues love them. I usually use them as a garnish on their greens, and dust them in calcium. I am wary or using garden snails or similar "wild" snails, as they often are laden with parasites. My blueys eat all of the zoomed canned products, from the insects (they like the caterpillars too) to the special formula diets. They get the canned fruit mix'ins too, usually as enticement for their greens.
