What kind of canned dog food is recommended?

Postby Gene0514 » Thu Aug 04, 2011 2:37 pm

Hi everyone
I've been currently feeding pedigree and alpo ground chicken canned food to my skink. Is there something better that you guys recommend? Or maybe some kind of cat food?

Pedigree beef is my staple, but I do switch it up occasionally.

Currently I am a fan of Nutro and Nurto Max. I usually feed formulas for adults or seniors (lower in fat) in Chicken and/or Turkey with vegetables or rice. That being said, any high quality caned dog food is great.

Ok thanks guys
I'll try those
Also, are the ones that say "with gravy" on them bad?
and do you prefer the ones with chunks or ground up meat?

I did use wellness cat food but now use pedigree with chopped beef. Just cheaper and bigger cans, didnt have an issue with the wellness. side note, pedigree is stinkier lol
