Just going to say, that's not a Tiliqua, it's a Cyclodomorphus.

Actually some taxonomists still consider it to be a Tiliqua. However, as far as I know, most seem to agree with the monotypic genus of Hemisphaeriodon. In addition there was a more current revision submitted (by Glen Shea?) that did away with their monotypic status altogether and lumped them into the already existing genus of Cyclodomorphus (the Slender Skinks). I personally do not agree with that specific revision submission, and I do not know if it was ever accepted by the scientific community. I will have to look into it.

I lost the reference but there was an article at one point about the taxonomic differentiation pointing to the structure of the jaw and the large teeth at the bottom of the jaw on pink tongues not found in Tiliqua. Haven't been able to find it again though.

Aligned with the observations in this article.

A more practical question for us all is how are these creatures as captives? I've heard they are more squirmy/quick and less handleable than bluetongues.

What a beautiful dark color it is showing. Does it have a blue tongue? Because I know young Pink-Tongue's tongue's develop to pink as they mature.
