Male or female?

I know sexing by just looks is not reliable. That said I also know there are some experienced keepers on here that are good at looking at a BTS and telling sex? I would love to know if Thor is really a male? he is only about 3 months at this point, so I haven't seen sperm plugs. He is 14" long and 220g
here is a couple of pictures. I know it will just be an opinion, I am just curious.Image

I don't think he was flattened out, he does that in his tank sometimes when I go to take him out, and he looks much flatter and wider. He was outside on the patio at the time, and enjoying himself.

I will post more pictures soon. Based on other photos I have seen, I am thinking Thor may be a she?

Too young to make a really good guess IMO.

Here are a few pictures I took today, so more current. Anybody have a guess/, male or female? Let me give you a little about personality too. Loves to eat, friendly, never hisses, huffs a little, like to explore once outside.

Thanks for the reply, since his name is Thor that is what we are hoping. When should we see sperm plugs, is it too early yet, he is 3 months old?

Hi Stacey! Thor is looking great! You guys look like you are doing an amazing job. He looks like a very happy guy. I'm glad you guys are enjoying him. He is too young for sperm plugs. Those would be something you would run across more when he is an adult. I'm happy you guys are so active on the forums because it is so good to see new pictures of him. :)

Thanks Tula-Girl! Yes we love him, he is eating well, loves to go outside to explore! Every time he sheds he becomes more gorgeous. He was the perfect choice for our 1st skink! I say 1st because I can definitively see us getting another some time down the road. I have become addicted, I have to have my Thor time every day!

I have a BTS named Thor also :) We pretty much confirmed yesterday that our Thor is a she so were are referring to her as Thora part of the time. We've had her for 11 years so the name Thor is still going to be used regardless. I wouldn't worry too much about the name. I think my Skinks in the future are either going to have unisex names (like Angel) or numbers (like Seven of Nine lol) until gender is confirmed.
