new cbb northern blue tongue

Postby herpgirl2510 » Thu Jul 14, 2011 4:21 am

I got this skink from Jeff here on the forum. I have had her 2-3 weeks and she is settling in great. I took a real hands off approach I have not handled her much at all I have jut let he settle in. This approach has seemed to work becuse two days ago she started scratching at the door and allows me to pick her up and take her out.

This is the day I got her.

She's cute! Is that some caterpillar she's eating? Can they eat any caterpillar?

She could be a boy too thats why I have not named her just in case. I need to think of a good unisex name.

Congrats hempgirl! Wow, she's adorable <3 I love all the big yellow spots on the side.

I find it interesting your hornworms are green. When I get them, they're usually the same color blue as your nail polish. Either way, a much loved treat.

the hornworms that are blue are ones that are fed a special artificial diet that turns them blue, i have no idea why someone started that, anyway, great skink you have there
